Who we are
Farrelly Bros is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. We are based at Carnaross, Co. Meath, Ireland.
For anything in this policy, including requests about your data, contact us at info@agriman.ie or on 046 924 0404.
What we collect, and why
When you send an enquiry
This site has two enquiry forms: the project enquiry on the contact page and a shorter form on service and sector pages. If you use either, we receive what you type into it — your name, email address and telephone number, plus, where the form asks for them, your company, role, the project's location and type, access and timing details, and your description of the work.
We use this only to reply to you, to quote for and carry out any work that follows, and to keep a record of the enquiry. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in running our business and answering people who contact us. We do not use enquiry details for marketing or add you to any mailing list.
What the browser stores
The project enquiry form saves a draft of your answers in your browser's local storage as you move between steps, so you don't lose them if you leave and come back. The draft stays on your device, isn't sent to us until you submit, and is deleted when you send the form.
Fonts
This website's typefaces are loaded from Adobe Fonts. Adobe's servers receive a request for the font files on every page load, which discloses your IP address and the fact that you visited this site to Adobe. No cookies are set by this request. See Adobe's privacy policy for how Adobe handles this data.
Cookies and analytics
There are no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts on this site, and it does not set cookies. Nothing you do here is recorded or reported to a third party for measurement or marketing.
Who handles your data for us
We use a small number of providers to run the site and the forms. Each handles data only on our behalf and under its own data processing terms.
- Cloudflare hosts this website, stores the record of each enquiry in its database, and runs Turnstile, a check that a form is being filled in by a person rather than a bot. Cloudflare also keeps short-term technical logs of requests, which can include IP addresses, for security and reliability.
- Resend delivers the email that carries your enquiry to us, and the acknowledgement we send back to you.
- Adobe serves the site's fonts, as described above.
Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, the transfer relies on safeguards recognised under EU data-protection law, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We don't sell your data and don't share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only as long as we need them to answer you and to carry out, invoice and support any work that follows, and as long as the law requires us to keep business records of that work. Enquiries that don't lead to work are not kept longer than is reasonably needed to deal with follow-up questions, after which we delete them. Analytics data, where used, is retained by Google under its own settings.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Acts 1988 to 2018, you have the right to:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased, in the circumstances the law sets out;
- restrict how we use your data, or object to it;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where we rely on it, without affecting what we did before.
To use any of these rights, email info@agriman.ie. We will reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission, Ireland's supervisory authority, at dataprotection.ie.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new date at the top.
